Manifest ("the app") is designed so that almost everything you do in it never leaves your device. This policy explains exactly what happens to your data.
Your intentions, streaks, settings, and journal entries are stored only on your device, using local on-device storage. Manifest has no backend server and no user accounts — we never receive, see, or store this information ourselves, and it is never transmitted anywhere.
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. Manifest cannot recover it for you, because we never had a copy.
If you use the wallpaper feature, Manifest asks for permission to access your photo library so you can pick an image and, optionally, save the result back to your photos. Images you choose are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
Manifest can schedule a local daily reminder on your device. This is handled entirely by your device's operating system — no notification content is sent through any server we operate.
If you choose the Apple Music or Spotify option for ritual music, Manifest simply opens a link to a playlist in that app. Manifest does not access your Apple Music or Spotify account, library, or listening activity.
In-app purchases (one-time unlock or subscription) are processed entirely by Apple and our payment provider (RevenueCat). Manifest does not see, store, or process your payment card details. See Apple's own privacy policy for how Apple handles payment information.
Manifest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children, in line with the above (we don't collect information from anyone, of any age).
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same location with a new "Last updated" date.
