Bleep — Support

Answers to common questions, and how to reach us if you need more help.

Frequently asked

Do I need an account?

No. Bleep has no sign-up and no login. Open it and start logging jobs — that's it.

Where is my data stored? Is it private?

Everything you type — jobs, referrals, initials, notes — is stored only on your own device and never sent anywhere. There's no account and no server holding your list. If you delete the app, that data is gone. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

How do live shift groups work?

A shift group shares one board and chat across your team's phones in real time. It's end-to-end encrypted: the data is encrypted on your device before it's sent, so the server relays it but can't read it. The group deletes itself when the shift ends. Share the join code in person — it rotates every minute.

Can I lock the app?

Yes. On the home screen, tap "Lock with Face ID / Touch ID". Bleep will then ask for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode every time it opens. It's optional, off by default, and happens entirely on your device — we never see your biometrics.

My reminders aren't arriving.

Check notifications are allowed: iPhone Settings → Notifications → Bleep. Reminders are generated on your own device, so they work with the app closed and without any internet connection.

What happens when I end a shift?

Tapping "End shift" clears the board so tomorrow starts clean, and stops any outstanding reminders. You'll be asked whether to keep that shift's referrals — if you do, they're filed in Past shifts; if not, they're wiped.

What are the tips for?

Bleep is free and always will be. The tip jar is an optional one-off thank-you to the developer — it unlocks nothing and gates nothing. There is no subscription.

Which devices does Bleep run on?

iPhone, running a recent version of iOS. There's no iPad or Android version.
